Area Watershed Work Coming

Flood mitigation projects bids will be taken for a number of projects.

Winneshiek County Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a meeting for contractors Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Natural Resource Conservation Service office, 2296 Oil Well Road, Decorah.

According to Matt Frana, coordinator of the Upper Iowa River Watershed Project, the meeting follows plan finalization.
