County Jail Project On Hold With Virus

 

Good news on the Winneshiek County Jail project has only limited expenditures still needed, though work has been disrupted.

With COVID-19, work is currently “more or less on hold” for the moment, said Dan Marx, sheriff.

During Monday’s meeting of the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors, Marx said $43,000 is left with the main project and $30,000 on the water.
