Winneshiek County Sees Top Ranking

A study has found Winneshiek County to be the healthiest county in Iowa.

SmartAsset’s second annual study noted the county as number one with the America’s Healthiest Places study, according to results sent by email April 3 by Stephanie Ciosek with SmartAsset.

Healthcare access and health behaviors as well length of life were looked at with the study.

Good health can often lead to lower costs, the email noted.
