Home Prices Climb: Unemployment Decline Continues
The cost of houses in Winneshiek County is up 28 percent from a year ago as Iowa saw housing sales increase.
Winneshiek County houses sold for an average $168,000, according to information from the Iowa Association of REALTORS ® online.
In an email Nov. 21, the group announced the program ShowingTime’s Market Stats.
Statewide, houses are selling for 3.7 percent more as well with an average price of $156,500.
Winneshiek County broke the increased sales trend with a drop of 19.4 percent.
