Open House Draws Crowd

Visitors to Christmas in Calmar got a chance to see inside the office of the city’s newspaper as the Calmar Courier opened its doors at its downtown office to the public Thursday.

The annual event draws visitors to the city with a variety of offerings.

Adding to the offerings at other businesses, the Calmar Courier teamed up with Val’s Catering to offer food and drink as well as books, coloring pages and free copies of the newspaper.
