Road Fix Could Be Costly

Winneshiek County’s supervisors heard a possible cost Monday for repairs to Ice Cave Road in the ballpark of $200,000.

Whether that ends up being what the county pays is uncertain.

Winneshiek County Engineer Lee Bjerke gave the figure to supervisors as a possibility, but a full repair isn’t likely until results are in from a study of what’s underneath the ground.
