SW Cross Country Visits Luana

South Winneshiek and Turkey Valley runners were supposed to have competed Thursday at Charles City, but recent rain washed out that idea.

Instead, the Warriors sought permission to run at MFL MarMac.

South Winneshiek’s Paul Hageman took second place for the men with a time of 17:53.01. Maquoketa’s Chance Downs was first with a time of 17:47.67. Waukon’s Logan Houg had third with a time of 18:37.45.

The Warriors also had Emmett Schwartzhoff place in the top ten with fourth place in a time of 18:38.41.
