SW Students Best Reading Goal

Principal Jason Halverson was willing to go the extra mile to motivate his students.

“Students at South Winn Elementary have been working hard all April during their annual Reading Month,” said Jenny Larson, Reading Recovery/Title 1 Reading, by email May 1. “Every student in grades preschool to 5th grade were expected to read a total of 15 minutes or more a night in order to reach their goal of earning a chance to see Mr. Halverson kiss a pig to go along with our theme this year of "Reading Down on the Farm."
