SW Students Receive Museum Visit

History hit the road April 1 with a stop at South Winneshiek Elementary and Middle School.

“…I coordinated the visit after a teacher friend in a neighboring district referred us as representatives for Winneshiek County,” said Jess Peters, an English teacher, by email April 1. “The folks behind the Iowa History 101 Mobile Museum are hoping to visit schools in each of Iowa's 99 counties, and we are thrilled to help them "check off" Winneshiek.
