Turkey Valley FFA Receives Grant

Turkey Valley FFA has received a $2,000 grant for CASE equipment. The grant is provided through Farm Credit Services of America’s Working Here Fund.

Turkey Valley school district has recently purchased the CASE curriculum and will use the Working Here Fund grant to purchase the CASE equipment to enhance the curriculum. The equipment will include things such as lab aids, CO2 gas sensor, compound microscope, and other necessary learning tools.

“Turkey Valley CSD has seen a need for this type of curriculum in the agriculture program,” said Steve Pfaffle, agriculture education instructor. “We are in need of additional equipment and supplies to make this a successful class.”
