A shot at state might be in store for South Winneshiek.

The Warriors are 8-0 in the conference so far and have a 14-4 overall record, according to coach Alex Smith.

Soggy conditions at Postville had South Winneshiek hosting the Pirates after the Warriors had been scheduled to hit the road.

Smith noted a strong pitching performance by Noah Tieskoetter.
