Warriors Fall To NFV & SF; Take 3rd @ Decorah Duals

South Winn got their week on the mat started a day late with the winter weather causing Thursday’s meet to be held on Friday. The Warriors traveled to Sumner for a triangular duals meet against the Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars and the North Fayette Valley Tigerhawks.

SW lost to SF but final score and stats were unavailable to the SW coaching staff at press time.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Warriors lost to NFV 27-47 as a team with individual results of: NFV won by forfeit at 126 and 160; Fisher- 106, won by fall 1:33, over J. Bradley; Massman- 113, lost by fall 5:47, to B. Jensen; Ling- 120, lost by fall 1:23, to J. Wander; Koenig- 132, lost by tech fall 1-16/5:38, to J. Kerr; Uribe- 138, lost by decision 4-9, to Z. Bruns; Schnuelle- 145, lost by fall 0:47, to A. DeMuth; Meyer- 152, won by decision 8-4, over J. Mackey; Hageman- 170, won by fall 4:00, over K. Guyer; Kuboushek- 182, won by fall 0:50, over C. Caldwell; Brincks- 195, won by fall 1:12, over N. Lansing; Kipp- 220, lost by decision 1-5, to T. Johansen; Emanuel- 285, lost by fall 0:47, to D. Lape.
