Warriors War With Wapsie

The Warriors hosted Wapsie Valley Friday for a narrow 28-26 win to move South Winneshiek to 4-1 for the season.

South Winneshiek was the first to score, but the second quarter saw Wapsie Valley first even the score and then move head to 13-6 at halftime as lightning was visible afar off.

“We struggled at times early to get in rhythm on offense,” said Jason Ohrt, coach.
