Station Project Receives Support

A $2,500 donation is going toward a new fire station in St. Lucas.

Adam Schmitt, a member of the department, made the donation by means of the Monsanto Fund’s America’s Farmers Grow Communities, according to information provided by Schmitt by email April 3.

The new facility has a timeline of the fall/next spring, Schmitt said, based on the speed of funding.
