The fates smiled on the Lady Warriors as South Winneshiek picked up an Upper Iowa Conference win against Kee High.
“After dropping set one, the Warriors settled in with some strong passing and serving to win the next sets sets,” said Alex Smith, coach. “Ruthie Frana led the way with 7 kills, Ali Heying dished out 12 assists, and Eryn Luzum posted 22 digs. The Warriors had 17 aces with Eryn Luzum having five and Emily Michels finishing the match with an ace serve for the win.”
Smith was happy with the win.
